Our Church History

In January 2011, we began serving through a weekly Tuesday night Bible study, "Times of Refreshing" in Randallstown, MD.
Also during this time, we laid a strong foundation among a leadership team consisting of 8 men and women in an effort to properly establish components of the ministry such as fiscal and operational entities. As a result, we have accomplished several goals, one of which is to have obtained the official government status as a 501c3 non-profit organization.
As we embarked upon our launching, we were extended an opportunity through the favor of God to partner with another congregation in the use of space located at 3702 West Rogers Avenue in Baltimore, MD. Having accepted the opportunity, we began serving at the above location on both Tuesday nights for Bible study as well as Sunday's for morning worship on Tuesday, November 1st at 7:00 pm and Sunday, November 6th at 9:00 am.
On December 14, 2012, the favor of God touched the ministry yet again. We were afforded the opportunity to acquire our own worship space at 3817 Marriottsville Road in Randallstown, MD. In acquiring the worship space, we also acquired assets such as pews, chairs, bibles, pulpit, keyboard, everything we would need to take the gospel of Jesus Christ even further. On December 31, 2012 we worshipped for the first time in our new location.
God has used the Word of Life Christian Community as a City of Truth and beacon of light for its members and community. In its short time of existence, the Word of Life Christian Community Church has developed over 15 Ministries in an effort to meet the needs of God's people. The outreach ministry has helped to meet the needs of members, neighboring churches and community initiatives.
